It was composed by Ernesto Drangosch (Buenos Aires 1882-1925), one of the foremost Argentine pianist and composers in his time. On January 9, 1923 it was declared the Official March of the Argentine Navy by Navy Minister, Admiral ManuelDomech García. It was performed by the Band of the Naval Education Directorate, conducted by Frigate Lieutenent A.Marcelo Zurlo. Trumpet Solo, WO Marcelo Salvatierra.
