The following data were mostly drawn from a work written in 1942 by Manuel P. Gómez Carrillo on his father. It was published by the San Isidro Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2001, in the second volume of “Estudios y Documentos referentes a Manuel Gómez Carrillo”, under the direction of Doctor Juan María Veniard.

Panorama in four movements: Alegría (Joy) - Canción triste (Sad Song) - El amor en los pañuelos (Love in the Kerchiefs) - Siempre alegría (Always Joy). Inés Gómez Carrillo premiered it on September 18, 1934 in the Buenos Aires Sociedad Amigos del Arte. In 1941, the author conducted its symphonic version.
The work -in the form of a sonata- presents effects of the species it recreates, expressed by means of an elaborate piano writing.
