A part of this CD was recorded in Vienna and other in Buenos Aires. The repertoire has chamber works by Argentine composers. The name of the CD evokes the fluid musical exchange that existed in the field of classical music between these two cities in the first half of the 20th. Century.
Conducted by the Argentine Lucio Bruno-Videla, Artistic Director of Tradition, the performers of the Argentine chapter are: Marcelo Baus (English horn); Marina Calzado Linage (percussion); Ana Corrado (viola); Virginia Correa Dupuy (voice); Sebastián Masci (violin); Marcela Méndez (harp); Fabio Mazzitelli (flute) and Matías Villafañe (violoncello). The performers of the Austrian chapter are: Tzveta Dimitrova (piano); Lucía Hall (violin); Ivailo Iordanov (double bass); Teodora Miteva (violoncello); Milos Todorovski (bandoneon) y Kinga Vass (violin).

The repertoire of this CD are the songs written by Juan Pedro Esnaola between 1835 and 1841, on the basis of Esteban Echeverría poems. This is the first disc made in Argentina with early instruments: was recorded using the fortepiano that belonged to Esnaola. The performers are the Spanish soprano Elena Jáuregui and the Argentinean specialized in old time instruments Norberto Broggini.
